About The Alarmist Podcast

The Alarmist is a comedy podcast that puts history on trial to decide who’s to blame.

Each week we reopen a case—from shipwrecks and scandals to pop‑culture meltdowns—build the file, question suspects, and deliver a final verdict. The goal isn’t outrage; it’s clarity, curiosity, and a good laugh while we untangle how disasters actually happen. Sometimes the culprit is a person. Sometimes it’s a system, a myth, or a chain of tiny choices that snowball into catastrophe.

How the show works

  • We research each case, lay out the timeline, name the suspects, and test every theory.
  • Expert guests join comedians to keep the debate sharp and the facts straight.
  • Every episode ends with a verdict—and an open invitation for listeners to appeal.
